My review:

If you want to know how to deliver a good speech or win an argument, perfect small talk at a party or manage a short but effective meeting, everything is here - in just a couple of pages for each subject.

The authors have tried and tested 44 of the most important communication theories - from Aristotle's thoughts on presenting through to Proust on asking questions - and they've distilled them into a few short but vital, easily understood and entertaining sentences.

All the references for the different theories are listed in the back for further study, and there are pithy, inspiring and motivational quotes throughout. There are even diagrams to further refine the authors' conclusions (though I confess I skipped over these!). An extraordinary book. Brilliant!
