Trust me, I'm not a politician

My review:

The book is just 90 pages long, but its arguments should be read and pondered repeatedly. It is an amalgamation of two lectures Dorothy Byrne gave in 2019, one of which caused considerable controversy as she raised the issue of truth and lies...

More people today believe in aliens than trust our politicians.

And when politicians refuse to appear on trusted news channels to explain and debate their position and policy with trained and informed journalists, preferring instead to present their views on social media where nothing is challenged and fake news abounds, where will this all lead?

While this isn't a 'feel good' read, it does challenge and encourage us all to think about how we might respond, and how we should seek to protect our democracy.
