This is the second book with former soldier, now Norfolk salvage diver Cam Killick.

He's managing his PTSD, trying to establish a new relationship, and building his new career as a civilian diver, but he keeps getting involved in helping the police with murder investigations.

This time he was commissioned to find some equipment lost to a fisherman in a lake off the Broads. But Cam finds a bloodied knife. It's clear it's not been used to gut fish but there's no dead body. 

Cam works with DCI Rogers to find out what's happened, who's dead and who is the killer.

It's a sinister and gripping mystery, and Cam and his dog Nala, as well as Rogers and Cam's 'love interest' Jess are all engaging characters. The Norfolk setting is also vivid and a great setting for Cam's watery exploits. 

It's a powerful and intriguing twist on the murder mystery to have him diving into the depths to find clues and solve mysteries. Already looking forward to the next instalment!
