My review:

Russell 'Buffy' Buffery is a former actor with a complicated personal life. When he inherits a B&B in Wales from a friend, he sees it as an opportunity to start afresh, again. But business isn't good and Buffy stumbles across an idea to run residential divorce courses to raise occupancy levels. He realises he can teach life skills to people who formerly depended on their partner to put oil in the car or make the evening meal.

The book is full of larger-than-life characters: Buffy's wives and children, the villagers and, of course, the B&B guests. It is entertaining and lively with a positive outlook on life in later years, and is a real escapist read. I didn't want it to end and, in fact, there is a free download as an e-book called 'Twin Beds: Christmas at the Heartbreak Hotel'.
