The Shadow of the Object

Our readers agreed that they found this book strange and quirky. Some were absorbed in the layered, reflective style and the perspective of shadow and imagination but others found it dull. The author's research felt overdone in parts and there didn't seem enough to the book for it to be included in the shortlist.
