Stormy Loch Academy is known for being an unusual educational establishment, encouraging students to enjoy and explore the natural world. 

Minna, Kass and Tom come here for the summer to escape their chaotic home lives and they're all eager to enjoy the independence and freedom they're given here among the hills and lakes.

When they meet an ex-student, and her dog, hiding our in the wild, their adventure begins.

At first they sympathise with Addie's plight but then she goes missing and it seems her story doesn't stack up. 

With events getting out of hand, they end up travelling to London to find out more. 

The children all display great resourcefulness, courage and determination. Will they get to the truth of the situation? Who is the villain of the piece and how can they all stay safe?

This is a great read. It's a traditional adventure, reminscent of the Famous Five or, as the 'Times' review puts it: "Reading 'The Children of Wolf Rock' feels like doing all the wholesome, good bits of a Duke of Edinburgh expedition without getting wet and cold. Gold medals all round."
