My book review of 'Lion in a Hurry' by Tiphanie Beeke

Lion is eager to see the Main Street parade and is on his way when he meets various friends who ask him to take them along too.
He's happy for them to join him, but his frequent stops for the elephant, snake, hippo, crocodile and giraffe are making him very late.
Will he get there in time to see the Big Red Truck?
Eventually lion accepts that he's not going to get there and takes one more passenger on board. It turns out that this is the driver of the Big Red Truck and lion gets a very special seat in the parade.
It's a charming tale with colourful, naif drawings to stress the message of kindness and friendship.
