This is the latest in a series of books by this author-illustrator team. Others include 'The Squirrels Who Squabbled' and 'The Camel Who Had the Hump'. I haven't read any of these - there are eight - and I'm not sure why this caught my eye, but it's rather lovely!

It's the middle of the night and two tiny turtles have just hatched on the beach and need to make their way to the sea.

Tula and Tiny know what they need to do and they need to do it quickly. But Tiny gets lost. Tula then has a dilemma. If she tries to find her brother, she will lose the race. 

The spectacle of all the tiny turtles going full pelt into the water draws quite a crowd in the other animals. What will they make of Tula's decision?

This is a fun story with lots to say - about the wonders of the natural world, but also about helping others. It's told in rhyme and the final message speaks in all circumstances. We may feel our efforts are only a drop in the ocean, but every drop counts and makes a difference in the grand scheme of things!
