A charming and amusing picture book for children aged around three, by one of my favourite author-illustrators. 

Bear wants to get some rest but just as he tries to nod off, there's a rather tiresome noise. 

As it's going to keep him awake, Bear decides to find out who is making the cheep cheeping, and get them to stop.

He goes from one animal to another but they each demonstrate to him - with their particular yapping, barking, neighing - that it's not them making the noise. 

Eventually, after Bear has been overwhelmed by a cacophony of animal noises, he finds the culprit.

It's a lovely story told in rhyme with wonderful illustrations. Perfect for bedtime and for audience particip
